Unbelievable Lost Photos Of The Titanic

Widely seen as the best-known ship ever to be made, Titanic has had a short and famous history. Sailing from Southampton, the UK to New York City, the largest ship at the time hit an iceberg and sank to the bottom of North Atlantic Ocean, with more than two thousand crew members and passengers on board. The tragedy is perhaps the most well-known maritime accident ever in history, and probably that had cost a lot of money. While you’d feel there’s not much more to find out after more than a hundred years, the royal liner also took many secrets with it to the bottom of the sea and we’ve now made a list of unbelievable lost photos to witness the great tragedy and all of its wondrous details once again.

The Dimensions Were Unprecedented

Today, we are used to seeing much bigger boats than Titanic but at the time, the world didn’t know what to expect. When the construction was done and the boat was ready for its maiden voyage, it turned out to be 882 feet long. To light it up, workers used 10K lamp bulbs while building it. These days,  the Harmony of the Sea takes credit for being the largest ship in the world and it is impressively 1,188 feet long.
