Widely seen as the best-known ship ever to be made, Titanic has had a short and famous history. Sailing from Southampton, the UK to New York City, the largest ship at the time hit an iceberg and sank to the bottom of North Atlantic Ocean, with more than two thousand crew members and passengers on board. The tragedy is perhaps the most well-known maritime accident ever in history, and probably that had cost a lot of money. First Ship This Large

In 1908, the ship-builders began the construction of the largest boat at the time, the RMS Titanic. It took so much time and large sums of money to construct the amazing vessel and it was something that the world hadn’t seen before. The ship was revealed to the public in 1912 and people were just awe-stricken with its size and beauty. It was just a matter of time before it would start sailing the ocean which happened just three years later.
