Ridiculous Airport Photos
Air travel has revolutionized the way humans live. They’re still human, though, and are prone to doing some very silly things while flying around the world. Airports, in particular, are a prime location for some wacky antics — even if it isn’t the holiday travel season. Here, we’ve collected some of the weirdest images of people (and even a few animals) doing crazy things in the name of air travel. Read on, but be warned that if you’re afraid of flying, some of these pictures may make your hair stand on end.
Danger In Paradise
This sign is posted ominously close to an otherwise peaceful beach on the Caribbean island of Saint Maarten. This is because the island’s Princess Juliana International Airport sits dangerously close to a stretch of sand. It has become a popular destination with tourists trying to catch sight of aircraft landing and takeoff. In 2017, an errant jet blast killed a visitor from New Zealand, perhaps prompting the airport’s insurance company to have them put up this warning.
