Rules Melania Trump Has To Follow Now She’s The First Lady
If you thought becoming the First Lady would give you the freedom to do as you pleased, you’d be mistaken. There are many rules and traditions that residents of the White House have to follow – for example, did you know that they’re not allowed to open any windows? On the bright side, they’ll have no mortgage to pay off so that’s kind of a fair trade! Follow us as we take a look at all the rules that Melania Trump has to obey now that she’s the First Lady. Choosing An Interior Designer
As part of taking the reigns of the White House, the residents get to choose an interior designer to work with. The Trumps decided to go for Tham Kannalikham. While they can’t change certain rooms, such as the Lincoln Bedroom, they are allotted $100K into a sort of personal bank account to spend on decorating and renovations the other areas of the house. Of course, they could choose to spend their own money instead of the $100K set aside for them.
