Heather Locklear – Born in 1961

Heather Locklear is an American actress renowned for her performances on television. Locklear started her career in 1981 playing the role of Sammy Jo Carrington on “Dynasty,” which was produced by Aaron Spelling and marked the beginning of a long-standing collaboration. Locklear rose to fame in 1993 when she was cast in the role of Amanda Woodward on “Melrose Place.” Her portrayal was so well-received that the actress was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress for Television Series Drama, consecutively.

Locklear is also a big believer in exercise. She enjoys running, biking, and swimming, and has been known to hit the gym for regular strength-training workouts.
