Er zijn maar weinig vrouwelijke actrices uit Nederland die zo hoog aangeschreven staan in Hollywood, als Famke Janssen. Aanvankelijk wou ze nog een carrière uitbouwen als model en zag het er naar uit dat ze helemaal in haar opzet zou slagen, toen ze naar Amerika trok. Maar toen ze ook interesse kreeg in het acteren, was haar succes helemaal compleet, toen ze aan de zijde van James Bond op het grote scherm mocht verschijnen. Ondertussen is ze ook één van de sterren van onder andere X-Men en Taken geworden, naast vele andere producties. Tijdens een uitstapje in Parijs maakte ze kennis met Cole Frates en ze voelde meteen een klik. Samen keerden ze terug naar de Verenigde Staten.
