Op zijn zestiende mocht Clarence Seedorf debuteren bij het profteam van Ajax en bijna meteen was zijn succesverhaal vertrokken. De man ging in Spanje en Italië spelen en zette er een heel mooie prestatie neer en kon zelfs hij de ploeg van Oranje op heel wat fans rekenen. Hij vulde vele sportpagina’s met zijn schitterende traptechniek, maar vond ook zijn plaats in de roddelbladen, toen bleek dat hij zijn vrouw Luviana en de vier kinderen niet naar waarde wist te schatten en er af en toe een andere vrouw op na hield. Daarna leerde de zakenvrouw Sophia Makramati kennen die hem blijkbaar op het goede wist te houden en ongeveer een jaar geleden stapten ze in het huwelijk.
