Sue Barker And Lance Tankard – Together Since 1998
Sue Barker retired from professional tennis to become a TV host in Britain. Her husband, Lance Tankard, is a former police officer and a gardener. When both were visiting the British Open in 1976, they finally connected. The pair fell in love and tied the knot in 1988. Berker was employed as a tennis instructor in Portugal, and Tankard was visiting at the time.
After returning to England, the two ran into one another at a restaurant and quickly developed love feelings for one another. They hit it off while on vacation in Portugal. They are settled in Godalming, Surrey, as of 2022.
