Shirley Jones became everyone’s favourite singing single mom in the popular sitcom of the ’70s- The Partridge Family. As a singer-actress, Jones started by starring in many musical films like Carousel and Oklahoma. Yet, her captivating performance as a vengeful woman in Elmer Gantry won her an Academy Award in 1960.
After having seen heights of success during six decades of her career, Jones, at 87, is thrilled to spend quality time in the company of her three sons and 13 grandchildren. At times, you can catch her having a good laugh rewatching her tv shows and movies!
