Tom Hanks – $17.5 Million, Pacific Palisades
In 2017, acclaimed actor and director Tom Hanks sold a couple of his homes for $17.5 million. The Academy Award-winning Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson originally listed the two real estates located side by side in the Pacific Palisades for $18 million in 2016. One of the two homes was a 4-bedroom Spanish-style mansion built in 1933 that was sold for $7.34 million which was under the asking price.
Meanwhile, the bigger one was reportedly built in 1957 and featured seven bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. It was sold above the asking price for $10.1 million. The Hollywood couple reportedly bought the houses in 2003 and 2007, respectively.
