Viele Erfolge erzielte Michael Ballack in seiner Zeit als aktiver Fußballer. Alleine mit dem FC Bayern München erreichte er dreimal das Double, das Team gewann also die Deutsche Meisterschaft sowie die Champions League. Zuletzt spielte er bei Bayer 04 Leverkusen, bis er im Jahr 2012 seinen Vertrag nicht mehr verlängerte. Seit seinem Karriereende arbeitet Michael Ballack als Experte beim Sportsender DAZN. Seine freie Zeit verbringt er in seiner Villa am Starnberger See. Für wie viel Geld er diese einmal erworben hat, ist nicht bekannt. Aktuell hat er allerdings Probleme mit dem Starnberger Landratsamt aufgrund eines Umbaus. Trotz Verbots baute Michael Ballack nämlich eine vier Meter lange Terrasse und ein Löschwasserbecken.
