José Carlos Ruiz es un actor de la Época del cine mexicano, en el cual éste estaba en todo su esplendor. Estudió en el Instituto de Bellas Artes en una época donde no era muy común estudiar para actuar. Debutó en 1965 en el cine con la película Viento Negro. Tiene una filmografía sorprendentemente larga, que junto a sus programas de televisión suman aproximadamente 100 producciones. ¡Es casi increíble! Sus últimas apariciones fueron en 2020 y 2021, así que este 2022 puede volver a aparecer para darnos el placer de disfrutar de su actuación. Es un actor multipremiado.
