José Luis García Agraz (68) – Ciudad de México
Es un director de cine. Su debut fue en 1979 con la película Háblame de Rita. Fue miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte entre 1993 y 2000. Su trabajo fue aclamado en varios países latinoamericanos, como Puerto Rico y Cuba y luego llegó a un nivel internacional. Por ejemplo, su película Desiertos mares ganó en México el Premio Ariel a la Mejor Dirección y Mejor Argumento Original en 1994 y en 1995 fue premiada en Puerto Rico. La película Salón México en 1996 ganó el Premio Jaguar de Oro en el Festival de Cancún y ganó otro premio en el Festival Latinoamericano de Trieste, Italia, en 1997.
