Dunja Hayali müsste jedem ein Begriff sein, denn dank ihrer Moderation des “ZDF Morgenmagazins” starten wir jeden Morgen glücklich in den Tag. Doch auch, wenn wir sie fast täglich im Fernsehen sehen, hält sie ihr Privatleben eher geheim – außer, wenn es um ihre Hundeliebe geht. Doch im Jahr 2008 zeigte sie sich zusammen mit Sängerin Mareike Arning, Mitglied der Band “Uschis Orchester”, auf dem roten Teppich. Wie man später erfuhr, waren sie zu dem Zeitpunkt schon rund ein Jahr zusammen.
Gegenüber Zeitungen sagte Dunya witzelnd, dass Mareike vor allem ihren arabischen Sturkopf bewundert. Vielleicht war dieser ein wenig zu stur, denn im Jahr 2011 gaben die beiden ihre Trennung bekannt.
