Gemma Jones (Born in 1942) – Sense and Sensibility
English actress Gemma Jones had an actor for a father. And her time at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art did her career some good. Although she broke into the acting scene with theatre productions, her time on the BBC’s series “Kenilworth” introduced her to a broader audience.
It didn’t take long for Jones to add renowned works like “Sense and Sensibility” to her repertoire. However, fans of the “Harry Potter” film franchise remember her best as “Poppy Pomfrey.” She also won her first BAFTA TV award in 2015. Jones does not appear to be leaving anytime soon. And we saw her in the award-winning biopic “Emily” in 2022.
