British actress Julie Christie studied acting at London’s Central School for Drama. And by 1957, she made her first appearance on stage. Her appearance in the BBC’s “A for Andromeda” endeared her to a wider audience. And while she’s increased her acting tally, nothing beats her performance in the romance film “Doctor Zhivago.”

Although she has over 50 acting credits, her accolades are more than anyone would expect. After all, Christie is the reciepient of over 40 awards, including an Oscar, Golden Globe, and Academy Award. Although we haven’t seen her act since 2017, she continues advocating for different causes.
