Barbra Streisand, 1942
Mit ihren 80 Jahren kann Barbra Streisand auf eine lange und erfolgreiche Karriere als Schauspielerin und Sängerin zurückblicken. In über 20 Kinofilmen wirkte sie mit und veröffentlichte mehr als 60 Alben. Sie gilt bis heute zu den weltweit erfolgreichsten Sängerinnen. Dabei fing ihre Karriere alles andere als glamourös an. Zunächst sang sie in Nachtclubs und arbeitete als Klofrau und Telefonistin. Doch mit ihrem Talent konnte sie sich durchsetzen. Im Jahr 1969 bekam sie einen Oscar als beste Hauptdarstellerin für ihre Rolle in der Musicalverfilmung “Funny Girl” und es folgten noch viele weitere Auszeichnungen. Zur Ruhe gesetzt hat sie sich bis heute nicht und steht weiterhin als Sängerin auf der Bühne.
