Twiggy (Born in 1949) – The Boy Friend
Dame Lesley Lawson, fondly known as Twiggy, is an English actress, model, and singer. Her modeling career took on a life of its own in the ’60 and ’70s, and she gained international fame after working with brands like Vogue. However, her appearance in the 1971 film “The Boy Friend” made her a household name.
At the 2019 Queen Honors, Twiggy was honored with a DBE. And since 2020, she’s hosted her “Tea With Twiggy!” podcast series. Writing is also one of Twiggy’s talents. So, today she’s a published author of around ten books, “Twiggy’s Guide to Looking Good” and the self-published “An Autobiography.”
