Im Jahr 2004 entschied sich Konny Reimann, mit seiner Frau Manuela und seinen zwei Kindern, sich bei seiner Auswandung in die USA von der Doku-Soap „Goodbye Deutschland“ filmen zu lassen. Dadurch wurde er durch seine lockere Art schlagartig in Deutschland zur Bekanntheit – und auch seine Ferienhäuser, die er in den USA selbst baute und an Urlauber vermietete, waren ein absoluter Erfolg. Durch das TV-Format nahm die Familie viel Geld ein, und es folgte ein weiteres Erfolgs-Format mit dem Fernsehsender VOX. Außerdem ist Konny durch Werbedeals, wie beispielsweise mit „Müller Milchreis“ noch bekannter und reicher geworden. Heute soll sein Vermögen bei 2 Millionen Euro liegen.
