PIPPO BAUDO
Pippo Baudo is one of the historical presenters of Italian television, who together with Mike Bongiorno and Corrado Mantoni gave life to the figure of the television host starting from the 1950s. Baudo conducted highly successful broadcasts such as “Fantastico”, “Domenica In”, “Canzonissima” and some editions of the Sanremo Festival. Pippo was also a talented talent scout as he discovered and launched personalities who became famous thanks to him, such as Heather Parisi, Lorella Cuccarini, Laura Pausini, Barbara D’Urso. Today the presenter is retired and enjoys a more relaxed pace of life. Sometimes he appears as a guest host in some broadcast.
